Ganondorf, known as the Great King of Evil or the Dark Lord, is the primary antagonist of the majority of games in the Legend of Zelda series. Happy Tree Friends (HTF) is an American flash cartoon created and developed by Aubrey Ankrum, Rhode Montijo, Kenn Navarro and Warren Graff for Mondo Media. The show is cited as an early example of achieving a cult following. The action and adventure comedy is composed of simple drawings and juxtaposes cute forest animals with extreme graphic violence. Each episode revolves around the characters enduring accidental events of bloodshed, pain, dismemberment, and/or death. At one point, the warning "Cartoon Violence: Not recommended for small children, or big babies" was given on the official website. The episodes have a runtime of 1 to 7 minutes. In 2006, a television series featuring longer episodes aired. A spin-off called Ka-Pow! premiered on September 2, 2008.

Samurai Jack is an American action-adventure chanbara animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series follows Jack, a time-displaced samurai, in his singular quest to travel back in time and defeat the tyrannical demon Aku. The series is known for its cinematic atmosphere, masking-based animation style, and battle scenes which pay homage to samurai films. Tartakovsky drew from a number of influences when creating the series, including the 1970s series Kung Fu, classic anime, and the works of directors Akira Kurosawa and David Lean. The series premiered on August 10, 2001, with a TV movie called The Premiere Movie. The series ended on September 25, 2004, after airing 52 episodes. Samurai Jack has since garnered high critical acclaim. It won 4 Primetime Emmy Awards, 6 Annie Awards and 1 OIAF Award, as well as eight additional nominations. All four seasons have been released on DVD by Warner Home Video.

Spoiler: Plot

Samurai Jack tells the story of a young prince (voiced by Phil LaMarr) from feudal Japan, whose father acquired a magical katana that he used to defeat and seal a shape-shifting demon named Aku (Mako Iwamatsu). Having foreseen that Aku would eventually break free, the Emperor sent his son to travel the world and train his mind and his body before returning years later to Japan as an adult. After taking his father's katana, the prince challenges Aku to a duel and defeats him. But Aku creates a time portal before the prince can deal the final blow, sending his opponent into the distant future with anticipation that he would be able to amass sufficient power to deal with the samurai by that time. The prince arrives in a dystopian, retro-futuristic Earth ruled by Aku and filled with his robot minions and a large number of alien immigrant races of various appearances. The first people he encounters in the future call him "Jack" as a form of slang, which he adopts as his name (his true given name is never mentioned in the series). Standard episodes follow Jack's search for a way to travel back to his own time, where he hopes to stop Aku before these events come to pass. The cartoon depicts Jack's quest to find a time portal, while constantly facing obstacles set by Aku in a classic battle of good vs. evil. Typically, each time Jack believes he has reached the end of his quest, something causes him to miss his chance. In one attempt, Jack locates a stable portal to the past, but the guardian of the portal (Kevin Michael Richardson) defeats him after a long but noticeably mismatched battle. The guardian is about to crush Jack when the portal starts to flicker and glow, seemingly giving the guardian a message: the guardian has a giant pterodactyl take the unconscious Jack away. After Jack leaves, the guardian states that it is not yet time for him to return to the past and an image of what is implied to be an older Jack is seen in the portal, indicating that Jack is predestined to succeed, but it will take years for him to do so. Episodes range from dark and epic to light-hearted and comical, and often contain little dialogue. Stories instead rely on the series' highly detailed, outline-free, masking-based animation, as well as its cinematic style and pacing. Many battle scenes in the series are reminiscent of samurai films, and since Jack's robot enemies bleed out oil or electricity and his monster and alien foes bleed out slime or goo, the action of these films can be exhibited while avoiding censorship for blood and violence.

DO u guys think that the power of a persons HAKI might perhaps be implied BY its COlOR ?
Cause in the anime Doflamingo ,Vergo AND even Pica for that matter had a slightly purplish tints to their Haki WHILE Luffy's WAS DARK (blackish) [/font]

Plot

Nacho decides to raise money for the children by moonlighting as a Lucha Libre wrestler with his partner Esqueleto (Héctor Jiménez), but since the church forbids Lucha, Nacho must disguise his identity.

Plot

Recently dumped by his girlfriend, slacker Rell (Jordan Peele) finds some happiness when a cute kitten winds up on his doorstep. They soon learn that a thug named Cheddar (Method Man) has the animal, and he'll only give it back if the two men agree to work for him. Great new movie, even though I was super skeptical because of the animal comedy movie genre. Key & Peele are great

Plot

Not the greatest movie, but I've always sort of enjoyed Sacha Baron Cohen and his comedies. Not to mention Mark Strong is fucking awesome in everything he does. So have you seen this, or do you plan on it? Lemme know!

Why you should watch the anime?

1. Enticing Plot - Keeps you hooked right up till the end of the season.

2. Very Colorful Nature of the Anime - very light and enjoyable watch.

3. The characters - a vast number of very enjoyable characters with good character development. You easily get interested in the characters and the way they evolve throughout the season.

4. Character Designs - Very nice character designs

5. Researched Work - The introduction of a professional chef in the staff implies how much research has been put particularly in food-related scenes.

6. Comedic Nature - It has very funny moments throughout each episode.

7. Great Animation - Animation is fluid, consistent and extremely well done.

Following the manga, the anime made a very good job at highlighting the great aspects Shokugeki No Soma has. It has been very well taken in by the audience regardless of it being a cooking manga/anime. Production of a second season is also underway (airing July 2016). I finally got the first voyage of season 8 One Piece English dub. Something really ticked me off I feel I have to say somewhere so it gets acknowledged, Jimbi when fighting Moriah, uses sea water to destroy Moriah's zombies. Moriah says "Sea Water?!?" then Jimbi explains "Since they are created by devil fruit powers they are weaken by water" (not exactly what he said but that's the gist of it).

This was so absurd to me, did nobody remember thriller bark? Did nobody watch the anime? Salt is a weakness for Moriah's devil fruit, and salt will make a zombie's soul leave it's body. To clarify, in the subbed anime they specifically say "salt water", implying it is the salt in the sea water that nullified his zombies. But instead for whatever reason the dub decided to call it "sea water" and claim his zombies are weakened by "sea water" due to them being created by devil fruit powers, which isn't exactly right.


I know dubs have translation issues, but one piece has always been really good with translations. This was just lazy in my opinion and someone should of said something.
