One of the most hauntingly human films of all time. It really speaks volumes if you've ever known anyone with an addiction and puts it in to perspective. The pain, the trauma, the loss. For those of you who have seen Requiem for a Dream, what did you think? If anyone has not watched this masterpiece, I really think you need to check it out immediately.

Favorite Fan Made / Hacked Roms
So a lot of you guys have been getting back to the emulators (or you never left) and playing some of your favorite Pokemon games. Recently I've gone through Red, Gold, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Crystal, HGSS, and, well, pretty much all of them. So I decided to look into some of the hacked roms and fan made Pokemon games and found some really awesome ones. Some are pretty basic and add a few more generations to a certain game or add more gyms, while others completely make their own games from scratch. So I think we should post some of our favorite ones so that we can each try them out. Make sure you post a link to the reddit or website that shows the features and where you can download it. I'll start with one I like a lot and most people have probably played it already.

Hunter X Hunter One Shot Spin-Off Featuring Hisoka's Past
Back in 2015, Tokyo Ghoul author and former Yoshihiro Togashi assistant Sui Ishida made an April Fools "announcement" of a Hunter x Hunter prequel concerning the lethal anti-hero Hisoka. When the day ended, he deleted the cover and interior "previews" of the young character, replacing them with the adult Hisoka. After a three-year break in collections, Hunter x Hunter volume 33 is out in Japan today. Tokyo Ghoul:re volume 7 volume on June 17th. To celebrate, the digital Jump+ platform has posted a crossover interview with Ishida and Yoshihiro, plus, Ishida's 69-page prequel.
It's currentely unknown, if there'll be an official translation of the one shot and/or when scanlation groups pick it up.

One Piece Anime Reveals New Theme Song, New 'silver Mine' Arc Before Zou Arc Starts
This year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that One Piece will enter an anime-original "Silver Mine" arc before going back to adapting manga material with the Zou arc. The issue is also revealing a key visual for the upcoming Zou arc.
The "Silver Mine" arc will debut on June 26. The story will center on Luffy and Bartolomeo, who are kidnapped by the Silver Pirate Alliance and taken to the pirates' stronghold, which is a giant silver mine. The story will follow Luffy and Bartolomeo as they work to escape their kidnappers. The story of the arc will link to One Piece Film Gold (pictured at right), which opens in Japan on July 23.
The issue is also additionally revealing that Hiroshi Kitadani and Kishidan will collaborate to perform the new opening theme song for the anime titled "We Can!." Kitadani — a member of JAM Project — previously performed the first opening theme song "We Are!" and the 15th opening "We Go!" for One Piece. Kishidan previously performed theme songs for Naruto Shippūden, One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island, and Kamen Rider Ghost.
The all-male group Generations from EXILE Tribe is currently performing the show's 18th opening theme song "Hard Knock Days." The opening premiered in April 2015 with episode 687.
One Piece Film Gold will open in Japan on 743 screens, which is the largest for any Japanese film. The film will screen with English and Chinese subtitles in five cities in Japan from July 23 to August 5. The film is also getting screenings in 3D, 4DX, and MX4D.

Dragonball Z: Abridged
Dragonball Z Abridged is a parody show of the Dragonball Z Anime.
It is done by Teamfourstar and they share it on their Official Website and on their Youtube Channel.
They do rework not only the canoncial Anime epsiodes, but also filler material, movies and specials, creating a slightly altered Dragonball canon for their purpose, while pointing out inconstencies of the original seires in a comedic way, with many popculture references and nods to other popular series.
They also work on a Dragonball Z Kai Abridged series, which is a summary of the different seasons of the series in their style.
(So that you can get an idea of their style)
It is currentely unknown how much of the Dragonball content will be dealt with by Teamfourstar, though we can be sure to see at least the whole Dragonball Z series as the cast for the Buu Saga is already confirmed.
