In the latest chapter, Merlin stated that his Father's name is "Belialin". Belialin closely resembles Belial, who according to Hebrew Bible is the Devil, the Demon King. The demons were scared upon hearing Belialin's name and even went to say that it cannot be possible.
When they heard Merlin's true name, they agreed that she in indeed
his daughter.
Now this is what that struck me with her name.
Whatever language the name is in, the Demons understood it all too perfectly. So it possibly disposes of the theory that she can be a goddess (even though she totally look like one

) since Godess's language should be alien to demons.
And by the look on the Fraudrin and Graylord's face, it seemed as if it was demons' own language. There is still the small possibility however that Demons do have knowledge of the Goddess's language and may have recognised it upon hearing.
Humans should know Goddess' names like we all do, that's what Gods do, they want to be praised and their glory be sung!
He knows Goddess' name and can pronounce it well but they don't even know the "true" language of demons. Also, Merlin stated that she is immune to Commandments.
It would natural for Demon King to make her daughter immune to the commandments he gave to his direct underlings so that she will always have her hand above them.
There's one more thing. In Chapter 186, the member of Goddess Clan mentions that they had slain every child from the Demon Clan.
And Fraudrin mentions that he can't believe that Merlin is a "Survivor".
This further implies that Merlin could be the daughter of someone from Demon clan, who is most fit to father Merlin other than Belial himself?
