Strength
- Strength is perhaps Raiden's strongest aspect, as he is easily in the range of 1000+ lifting tons (20-100 striking).
- Holds back Outer Haven (a giant submarine) with one arm cut off. Outer haven weighs in the 1000's of tons, likely more than Excelsus. (even 10000's)
- Flings a bunch of Gekkos around like they're paper.
- Parries a RAY's heat blade, then throws the RAY with one arm. If you look carefully, you can see that his second hand doesn't actually grab the RAY.
- Punches a large robot dog into the air.
- Throws Excelsus. Based on size (and the weight of Peace Walker), Excelsus weighs in the 1000's of tons.
- Parries Excelsus's giant sword with another one that Raiden ripped off of it. Raiden then cuts Excelsus to bits with it.
Durability
- Raiden is quite durable (especially to pain/blunt trauma), but it is his weakest area. Unlike many characters, the impact of his injuries doesn't get appreciably worse over time - he's functional until he falls over unconscious.
- Can function as normal with one or both arms cut off.
- Survives being crushed by Outer Haven. (submarine the size of a small city)
- Gets chomped by a RAY and thrown into a building with little damage.
- Survives being thrown around a train tunnel, getting his eye cut out and having his arm cut off.
- Sits calmly in a car while it gets hit by an RPG.
- He gets stabbed in the stomach and laughs (he has pain inhibitors). Then he gets the Doktor to turn off his pain inhibitors, pulls the sword out of his chest and he still tanks it.
- Survives being blown off the side of a building by a direct missile hit.
- Takes glancing blows from high-caliber A2A guns.
- Falls from a helicopter flying above skyscrapers and survives.
- Survives a beat-down from Steven Armstrong (Who can punch Excelsus to bits). Armstrong's blows have the same melting effect as HF Blade tech
- Can survive large plasma blasts, and being stepped on by giant robots.
Speed / Skill
- Raiden can move FTE in short bursts, and can reliably react to things moving greatly FTE.
- Fight with Vamp. General fighting skill.
- Trivially solo's a bunch of Gekkos. He later gets overwhelmed.
- Chases a RAY by jumping on the missiles it's shooting at him.
- Runs down the side of collapsing building while dodging missiles.
- Catches a moving train that had a head start. He does this by running on the side of a building.
- Deflects FTE throwing knives from less than 10m away.
- Kills a man before he can shoot the boy he's holding. Raiden starts 10-15m away from the man.
- Jumps between flying robots while killing them. Then he runs up the side of a building, dodging missile fire, explosions and concrete boulders.
- Cuts his way out of the top of a building to avoid colliding with it. He then dodges missile fire from close range and cuts a man into bits before he touches the ground.
- Ducks the blades of a helicopter.
- Absolutely stomps the man who killed his last body. (not that great for speed or skill, but it reinforces the improvement of his bodies over the earlier ones)
- Can punch really fast. (he's not doing any damage because of how strong Armstrong is)
- Shreds a moving helicopter blade so quickly that it appears almost stationary.
- Can dodge / slice / deflect gunfire.
First Appearance As Cyborg Ninja:
- Sneaks up on both Snake and Revolver Ocelot as he casually cuts off Ocelot's hand and the wires attached to the C4 around Baker within seconds.
Battle With Snake:
- Casually kills over half a dozen armed soldiers in a narrow hallway with nothing but his sword.
- Moves FTE across an office room, both within just a couple feet and from one end of the room to the other.
- Can block bullets with his sword.
- Punches and kicks can break bulletproof glass.
- Can stomp the ground to create shockwaves with a ~15 foot diameter.
- Body can generate an electrical field around it.
- Tanks gunfire
Metal Gear REX:
- Holds up REX's foot while holding a conversation
- Arm cannon takes out the radome after two rounds of firing; said radome tanks around half a dozen stinger missiles beforehand.
- Laser cuts off arm while in midair, not affected or slowed down.
- Jumps a couple dozen feet into the air and lands on a thin platform above with precision.
- The head of REX slams into Fox's stomach, causing the metal wall behind him to crack; Fox is only momentarily stunned.
- Falls several dozen feet onto the ground and is then stomped on twice by REX before dying.
Keep in mind that all of Gray Fox's known feats are from his mid to late 50's. During his time as a child soldier up until he died, he had never lost a fight and never failed a mission. He has been called The Perfect Soldier by a lot of people, including Solid Snake.
Scenario: Both of them are in their prime so we will say late 20's or early 30's. Both are using their cybernetic upgrades, neither sword can break the other. They start the fight using hand to hand combat, then switch to their swords until one of them dies.
Location: On top of a heli-pad large enough to contain a Metal Gear. They start 15 meters away from each other.
