Did You Know? Marineford Edition

Marineford is full of links, shortcuts, and little info bits not everyone recognizes when using the forum. Helpful tricks make browsing the forum much easier and will help you reach the content you really care for.

I planned on doing a collection of all these little "Did you know...?" facts for a while now, but wasn't really convinced until a user asked me what this icon is for the other day. That's the point where I realized it was time to increase the Observation Haki on Marineford.

In this thread, I'll post all the little facts & tricks I know to make browsing the forum easier. You can add yours as well of course. I'll start with links & shortcuts and the icons & symbols of the forum, and then update this list every now and then. Many of the active users will know most of these, but probably not all yet.

Did You Know...?

Forum Icons & Symbols

Did you know...? ...that the One Piece icon at the beginning of a thread title will direct you to the first unread post in that thread? ...that the green speech bubble in the bottle icon in front of a thread indicates that you've posted in that thread? ...that the color of the bottle icon indicates whether or not a thread has new posts? ...that the color of the steering wheel icon in front of a forum indicates whether or not that forum contains new posts? ...that the color of the dot icon in front of a subforum indicates whether or not that subforum contains new posts? ...that the form of poll check boxes indicates whether you have one (circular ) or multiple (angular ) votes? ...that the color of the Luffy icon next to a username indicates whether that user is online or offline? ...that the blue arrow icon inside a thread allows you to jump to a selected page in the subforum the thread is located in? ...that the green arrow icon inside a quote will direct you to the post that was quoted? ...that the green bar icon on your profile and postbit represents your reputation? The higher your reputation, the longer the green bar , with 1 green bar representing 10 positive reputations.

Links & Shortcuts

Did you know...? ...that you can change your avatar by clicking on the small version of your avatar in the panel? ...that the titles of all 11 sideboxes on the main page are links to different places? ...that the titles of all forum categories on the main page are links? ...that the One Piece logo in the panel is a link to the One Piece forum? ...that the Jolly Roger in the postbit is a link to the tavern? ...that the country flag in the postbit is a link to that country's Wikipedia entry? ...that the achievements in the postbit are a link to that user's achievement collection & that the rank symbol in the postbit is a link to the rank page? ...that the reputation bar in the postbit is a link to the user's reputation page? ...that your bounty in the panel and in the postbit is a link to the bounty page? ...that you can select the URL of a specific post by clicking on that post's number? Helpful if you want to show someone a certain post in a thread. ...that you can see the members of a usergroup by clicking on the respective group at the bottom of the main page? ...that you can change your vote on a poll by undoing it and voting again? ...that the Luffy icon next to a username is a link to the Who Is Online? list? ...that there is also a Who Was Online Today? list?
