Assassin's Creed took a break in 2016, and rumors about an Egypt setting were now apparently confirmed with a pyramid render screenshot titled Assasin's Creed Empire:
According to some leaks, the new protagonist will reportedly be an ex-slave who barely speaks. Here's hoping when he does, players will have dialogue options like The Witcher, which is a game the developers are said to be inspired by.
Here is more on the supposed leaked info:
Made by the team at Ubisoft Montreal - the guys behind Black Flag and Far Cry Primal - the game will also feature full "player progression", a "freeform combat system" and colourful game world. That includes blue skies, lush vegetation, desert sequences and mirages, as well as horses and boats for transportation. And you'll also have an eagle under your control.
Concrete info are not available yet, Ubisoft has not made a statement addressing any of the leaks yet. But they've said that they'll take their time developing the game, and as things are looking now (alpha version 1 year prior to release not ready yet), AC Empire might be pushed to early 2018.
What do you think, do you like Ancient Egypt as setting? Are you appreciating the break and the increased developing time?
Are you hyped for the next Assassin's Creed?![:) :)]()
