Super Saiyan Blue is currentely the strongest Saiyan transformation there is, alongside Future Trunks' new transformation.
Super Saiyan Blue is basically a Saiyan transformation into a Super Saiyan, with Godly Ki mixed into it. This is also the reason why it was originally called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, as it needs the Godly Ki of the Super Saiyan God form to achieve.
The SSJ-Blue form is a state of superior Ki control. As stated in the series does the form itself not need a lot of Ki and stamina to maintain, in other words not wasting a lot of Ki like the normal Saiyan transformations, but the activation of it needs the power that is straining the user so much. In regards of Ki control is it thus very similiar to Super Saiyan 1 - Grade 4, that was originally achieved by Gohan and Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and later by Vegeta.
This brings up the question if it is possible to get a Super Saiyan Blue 2 and possibly even 3, if the respective non-godly transformations are mastered to the extend where the Ki is under absolute control and isn't waisted anymore for simply sustaining the form.
Something nobody has done by now, except for the possible exception of Future Trunks, who is currentely the most skilled SSJ2 user.
