Does A God Exist In Nanatsu No Taizai?

Easy enough question. In Nanatsu no Taizai is there "God" like one all powerful being. Throughout the series we have seen a handful of different races including humans, demons, fairies, goddesses, and so on. All of these races have been shown to have characters that can use magic and have abilities for battle. However in the most recent chapter we learned something that made me ask this question

Spoiler: God?

Now the first image clearly states the light of God and the second image says that this "goddess" was a lower ranking angel as he states there are 4 Great Angels. This kind of makes me believe that the Goddess clan are actually just angels and that there is a God in this universe.

So what do you guys think? Is there God? Why or why not?
