Hello everyone! Welcome to yet an other Marineford Interview! Today I will be interviewing @Booker so keep on reading to find out more! If you missed the last interview you can go read that one first!
Hey @Booker I asked a member on the forum to introduce you and this is what the member had to say.
"Booker is like the German lovechild of Sephiroth and Uta. Has perhaps one of the greatest tastes in music on the forum, being a metal head and lover of Billy Talent. He also has a keen eye for aesthetics as proven by his instant understanding of Rowlet. He likes seinen and mystery manga, adding to the brutal metal head look, but in reality is one of the nicer and more relaxed members you will ever find, a man after my own heart, there are few people who compare to Booker in atmosphere, having him as part of a conversation is a true pleasure.
He also not only has the longest hair of all the guys on the forum, but may have the longest hair of almost any of our members, something I am quite jealous of.
Reading his passionate posts about not so popular manga, really show his dedication and the kind of quiet and modest person he is, that he puts in so much work to show people he cares rather than just recommending it is a very respectable way to promote something you're passionate about, and one of my favourite things about him."
Can you guess the member?
I'm 100% sure that this is from @Ultimatespoon

Correct! Sounds like he is in love with you doesn't it? How would you reply to his love? xD
Well, who isn't in love with me? xD
Kidding. Not sure how I'd reply, I'm rather the silent type who doesn't reply with many words. Though I'd defenitely share the love for the hair of the other and of course throw Rowlets at him without end.
Guess we'd settle it after this with out usual "Buu

That is really cute, I'm sure a lot of girls will be jealous now.
You think so? xD I wouldn't know anybody on MF.

Yeah, what woman doesn't like some serious bromance!

Ooooh, you meant it that way. Yeah, I guess many ship us. Especially if they saw my hair as well. ^^
Two Long haired guys in bromance, who wouldn't like that? xD
Hahahhaha.
So your introduction was very long and great! But is there something you want to add?
I guess there are many things that I could add, as the fewest People on MF really know me, though I guess that enough is going to get revealed during this interview. At least for those who're hungry for info about the great Booker. ^^
I will do my best to make sure everyone gets to knows you better!
You can do it!

Hahaha okay I hope people keep that in mind.
So what do you do these days? Are you a working man?
I'm a working man indeed. I have an apprentanceship at a job that doesn't have an english name; I think we can settle with chemical worker though. The apprentanceship includes professional school though, so I have to do both, study and work.
Do you like what you are doing?
Oh yeah, the job is great. You don't do that much and get paid well, though you have to carry a lot of responsibility. Taking care of things like chemicals not getting into drinking water and stuff, things can go really bad if I (and my coworkers) screw up.
Ah okay sounds very serious! I'm glad you like your job, that's very important.
It is a serious job, though the atmosphere with the coworkers is relaxed most of the time, making jokes and stuff. Only changes if something is going south. ^^
Yeah, not liking your job must be hell. I wouldn't want that and would never work as something that I don't like or don't wanna do.
If you could go back into time would you change something?
Uff, hard question. There are some things that I did or let happen that I regret by now. Though I'm not sure if I would want to change something about them, if I could. I'm quite happy with my life right now and those bad parts kinda lead me to now just as much as the good parts, so no. I wouldn't change anthing if I could.
Such a mature answer.!
Now the most important question! How long have you been growing your hair?
I'm kinda an adult, I need to act mature at times. xD
My hair, huh. I knew that it would come up. ^^ I don't exactly know for how long it has been growing by now. Though I think that it is something between 7 and 8 years?
Your hair is very famous.
Yeah, my hair is famous, indeed. That's one of the two things that I expect people to come to their mind when they hear Booker. xD
Well good luck with keeping your hair beautiful and strong!
Thank you. ^^ Though I plan to cut it a bit in near future.
What!
Only a few centimeters. xD
Don't go breaking hearts. Sheesh! xD
On to some more forum questions~
You are also a mod on the forum, how long have you been a mod now?
I'm a mod for over a year now. One year and two months, I think? I don't really keep track of something like that, though defenitely for over a year.
How did you become one?
This isn't a really spectacular story. I didn't have to slay any dragons and free maidens out of towers. Gobee just asked me if I wanna be mod (for DB and TG) and I was like "sure, okay, why not?" and that is how I became a mod. xD
Hahaha any story is a story.
How do you like it so far?
It's good. I mean, being a regular mod isn't really that hard, it's not like we need to perform any kind of inhuman deeds, but trying to make the sections you're modding active is, if they're inactive, is. xD
I mean, when I came here, DB already ended and that years ago, not to mention that it is hard to find people who really wanna talk in depth about it. DB Super doesn't make that any easier, sadly.
TG had two active member (Sasuke and myself xD) and I'm really happy that it is rather active by now.
I was the Bleach mod for some time as well and managed to get a few Posts in that as well, though the series itself didn't make it easy to make it active due to it's quality heavily degrading. @PranavToD has this hard job now. xD
And last but not least did I become the mod for Boku no Hero Academia recentely. The series and thus the Sub Forum have a lot of potential and I guess that I can make it active (of course only with the help of our users ^^) though I need to dig it a bit more to get on a level where I can make a good amount of enjoyable threads for it. Being a good mod only comes with good users, of course. The forum lives from both. Now you made me talk a lot

Wow, I love how you love being a mod! Makes me kind of happy to know we have such a passionate mod on the forum. @Gobee129 will be very proud.
Have you ever had to ban someone? Would you ever like to ban someone?
I never banned someone on MF, no. Though I already banned and considered banning on MF.
Not a big fan of it though, because that means that I have to deal with People who are worth banning.
Very true! You are a working man so how do you find time for the forum?
Actually, I have no idea. xD I have to deal with work. I deal with school. I somehow manage my social life and also other sites I'm (more or less) active on.
I have really no idea how I get all the stuff done xD @Gobee129 once mentioned the stereotype of german discipline? I guess that's it, somehow. Though I don't really believe it as I enjoy to be lazy way more than being active.
Yeah @Gobee129 likes to promote the germans effectiveness!
What is your favorite forum?
Anteiku (formerly 20th Ward), of course. ^^
I mean, this is the second thing I'm known for; Tokyo Ghoul. It's the manga I currentely enjoy the most (and probably will for the next ~80 weeks). It has gone so far that I'm excited every time I see a new post there. xD
80 weeks huh.
Yeah, I expect :re to end during the next 70-90 chapters.
If you are correct it does seem like you know that Manga the best!
I'm far from knowing it the best, very far. xD
I have a feeling you are the Manga kind of man, am I correct?
Yeah, I prefer Manga over Anime by a large margain. There are a few Anime I enjoy as well, but generally speaking Manga > Anime, in my humble opinion.
What makes Manga better than Anime for you?
The two most important things would be that I decide the pace at which I read instead of being forced to watch every second of an episode. The other thing is that it comes directely from the author. No Animators or Editors or whatever in between that screw around with the original idea. Well, that's only true for authors who can act rather independent and don't need to adjust their series to the mainstream so that there boss is satisfied.
Name one Anime that was worth watching?! Maybe the readers will give it a go.
Samurai Champloo & Cowboy Bebop come to my mind right away. Afro Samurai is also good and Pokémon Origin is worth a shot, if you're a Pokémon fan. FMA:B as well.
Thank you for the suggestions!! Now onto your favorites! Who is your favorite character and why?
You're welcome. ^^
Well, I don't really have a favourite character, it changes so often. Among the latest would be Saiko Yonebayashi, Naki and Furuta from TG. Not really sure who it is currentely though, nobody comes to my mind right away.
Oh you didn't even mention Uta? D:
Nope, his design is by far the greatest and he certainly is a great character. But not my favourite, no. ^^
Might change once he gets more screentime though. xD
On to some more personal questions!
Are you single?
Yes, I currentely am single.
Are you loving it?
Again one of those questions I'm torn about. ^^
Being single defenitly has positive parts, among that the bigger "freedom" of course (not that I was caged during my last relationship), but you can do more and are able to be more egoistic. Not having to worry about how your other half would feel if you this or that. You have more time for yourself and your friends and can genrally focus more on stuff that interest you. So yeah, there defenitly are positive parts.
Though I think that the good things in a relationship outweight that.
I mean, if you're in a good and happy relationship, then you have someone you can rely on, no matter what. You have someone who's there for you and with whom you enjoy spending time together. Not to mention that it is great to have someone you see when falling asleep and waking up. It just feels better to be in a relationship, in an emotional way; that's at least how I perceive it.
Not to mention that there are also the "adult" kind of pros you can enjoy. ^^ So yeah, I can life and enjoy being single and won't force myself to find a new partner, but if it happens, then I'm glad as well.
Thank you for the great insight. Love comes when it comes!
Yep, forcing it doesn't bring you anywhere.
Lets move on now! It's time for some really fast questions now.
Tokyo ghoul or Metal gear solid?
TG
Long hair for the rest of your life without metal music or metal music without long hair?
Music without hair.
Wauw.
Spoiler: Special hair shout out!
Ken, (not enough developement for Touka recentely

Tell us something about yourself that will suprise most of the readers?
Uuuuuuh, I have a collection of Hello Kitty figures and a plush.
Omo

It started out as a joke and kinda escelated. xD
I even had jam and muffins, but you could taste the chemicals, so I threw them away.
Is there something you would like to say? Is there a question you were hoping I would ask and I didn't ask?
There is something I wanna say for sure and that goes to everyone: Please excuse my poor grammar and writing! (seriously). No there isn't such a question.
Thank you so much for your time!!!
I'm glad to have been here, thanks for inviting me!
I hope everyone got to know @Booker better after reading the interview. If you have any more questions I'm sure @Booker will answer them.
